The bubbling spring behind the post office

I am asking this hoping someone in the know will tell me...

What's with the water coming out of the ground in the rear corner of the Post Office lot?

Is it a natural spring? A broken watermain?
Is it being addressed?

Will there be millions of mosquitos habitating the marsh that is forming back there this summer?

natural spring

The water is from a natural spring on the PO property that was capped, but has become uncapped. The landowners of the PO, are working with Longstreet Commons to see if they can tap into the development's storm water management system instead of recapping it.

A call to the Contruccis has not been returned today so far.

There is another spring on

There is another spring on the property between the dentist's office and the entrance to the town houses, right across the street from PW's there is a weeping willow that is ALLWAYS green there because of it.
