Stop bashing the PD, you're not perfect either!!!

The facts are the 2 Top Cops in Haymarket cannot be responsible for the ones who break the law. How can we allow people that have been arrested (and pled guilty) run for Council or their friends run for Mayor. I'm sorry to say it but we got the best for the money in the Police Dept. Why anyone would want to be a Haymarket Cop is beyond me..minimal money, poor benefits, and so on. I appreciate the dedication these officers have shown over the years. It's obvious they must be doing the job for the community as they really don't get much else.

Fact 1 - The two Haymarket cops in Town have broken the law several times over the years. That will soon be shown to everyone.

Fact 2 - The only ones I know that have been "ARRESTED" so far is several members on your Town boards already in place. We will not mention them by name because they haven't been on here acting foolish.

Fact 3 - Bob Weir has leaked information to the press about personnel issues.

Fact 4 - Bob Weir and the Mayor has covered up illegal activity of several employees of the Town. This has already been seen......

Fact 5 - The Town citizens are paying for two officers to drive their assigned vehicles home and wherever else they wish to go because they are said to "be on call" in case of an emergency.

Fact 6 - Mayor Stutz stated that serious issues such as sexual harrasment should not be reported, "as Town policy directs them to do so", instead those issues should be handled in the "Christian Way". -- Think she forgot about that lil seperation thing ---

Fact 7 - Bob Weir along with John Cole tried to intimidate the Commonwealth Attorney in Fairfax, as a council member of the Town of Haymarket, to make her prosecute Officer Hoffman for the charges that were being dismissed against him. Bob Weir advised her that she was not "Helping Their Cause any by dismissing the charges against Hoffman".

Fact 8 - The Town council fired Hoffman for a violating policy after they were upset that they could no longer use the charges in Fairfax against him. "Bob Weir's recomendation"

Fact 9 - Chief Roop did call officer Hoffman's wife at home and tell her that she should sleep with him because he was the "CHIEF" as she must be tired of sleeping with a "peon officer". He further stated that if she did sleep with him as he was the "CHIEF" that her husband might get promoted.

Fact 10 - When the Town council was told about fact 9 above they stated that it was just a joke and since alcohol was being consumed at the time then it was ok for him to represent himself as the "CHIEF". -- No action taken --

No one pled guilty. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I have seen a case set aside where the defendant pled NOT GUILTY. Now I see why you think you got the best 2 police officers for the money!! LOL!!
