Bull Run Middle School Teacher Caught in Sex Scandal

Ok, those of us who were watching the news yesterday saw the news about how a teacher was caught up in a sex scandal. Once again, our community is in the news.

The teacher was a science teacher at Bull Run Middle School. He was caught having sex with a minor (16 year old girl), upon further investigation, they found child porn on his computer.

The school has been open 6 years now, and has something happen at least one time a year. The principal has been the same for all of them, does this tell us something? Maybe it is time for a change.

Bixby is great

What diffrence would the princial make as far as what ateacher does in thier own house? He is a great approchable prinicpal who does a great job withthe staff he has.

I agree that Principal Bixby is a very personable man. I have two children that have and are attending Bull Run. In the six years I have known him, I have found him to be a great guy. However, a great principal, I wouldn't go that far. A principal can only be judged as great as his school. With the bad publicity Bull Run has received in the past, great, would not be the first word that pops to mind. Where this incident was out of his control, this is just one more blemish on his school.
