Why has the Town Police Web page dissapeared from the town's web page?

Just curious since we were looking for contact info for the neighborhood watch and we discovered that the web page and email links have been removed from the web page.

Finally Gotten Smart

Maybe the Town Council has finally gotten smart and fired the entire police department and let the County take it over. Or are Roop and his cronies so scared that maybe they will actually have to work and give up their life of leisure if there is a web page for them?

I doubt that they have done

I doubt that they have done that but it does speak volumes about what the Town feels is a effective and acessable police department that actually "serves" the community. It has been my personal experience that the town police department is ill equipped to do any police work other than write a traffic ticket.
They have never followed up on the burglary never spoke to neighbors and did nothing to look for finger prints at the scene.( I asked a fairfax county police officer down the street what would be a normal response) The insurance company said took 5 weeks (that is right 5 weeks)for the Police department office to confirm the case was reported to the town.
It was aslo told to us at a neighborhood watch meeting ( sponsored by the county) that if we request a county officer they will send one if you ask for one. To be honest if this was my missing child or a serious crime against my family I would not want the possibilty of the town polce ruining the case with their involvement.
