Ma'am, you should probably let the boys duke this one out. I'd hate to see your reputation and/or standing in the community impugned in any way.

It is nice that you care about the Town and the PD folks working the checkpoints...but I believe you would be better served staying at home, away from the checkpoints, where people are sometimes drunk and belligerent.

I would suggest you keep Mr. Weir off the streets and allow him to be the "king of beers" at home. You'd hate for him to be one of the Council members targeted in a random DUI check on his way home from Bonefish or Unos.

In no way is this meant as an attack on you or your children...but merely a statement about your husband, who at times, seems likes he's a little on edge. Perhaps he needs to drink to calm down and/or to cover up the scent of the tobacco he's been smoking all day. If I were you, I'd be less worried about the Town and it's problems than I'd be worried about my spouse and the cancer causing carcinogens he ingests on a daily basis.
