People of the "Town of Haymarket"

It has been amusing watching your town air everyones dirty laundry. Being a resident of Haymarket, not in the town, I feel I must say the following.

To the people of the Town of Haymarket:

You all are a bunch of relocated Manassas Park rejects. I have never seen such a blue-collar area make so much noise. When on occasions I have to drive through the town, I make sure to tell my children to put the windows up and not feed the animals. I am embarrassed when relatives come to visit us and we drive through the town and see big tool trucks sitting in peoples driveway on Jefferson Street. As far as the police department, I’m not sure what the complaints are for, what do you expect from police who want to work for a country bumpkin town. I’m sure they all have their G.E.D, so there more than qualified to protect Haymarket. I am sure we will not be hearing about the town much now since NASCAR season has started. As far as some dog getting shot in the town, who cares? Oh and by the way what kind of dog was it, a golden retriever, no it’s Haymarket it must be a pit bull. Remember Haymarket “It’s not a crime to be stupid, it just happens”.

DV vs.H-town ? HUH?

What is this all about.You ppl in DV really think you are the sh*t.But hey, you are not.We actually have furniture in our homes,because we don't have problems paying our Mortgages.You are just angry because you choose to life in DV and now realize that you can't afford to life there anymore.
At least most of the people in Town don't hate on each other.Go get an eskimo pie and be unhappy!
Most of the homeowners in DV are not even there anymore they rented their houses out to section 8 .

My husband and I live in the TOWN of Haymarket and own three townhomes in DV as investment properties. Two of the three tennants were recently evicted because they could not pay the rent.

Point is...this is a silly argument. There is a mix of people in any town/city you name...it doesn't matter where the home or "gated community" is located. Can we find more important stuff to talk about? You do realize you guys fuel DV guys fire everytime someone fires back with a response to his ignorant rant.

As the wise Rodney King once said "Can't we all just get along?"

Stacey, is that you? You always did say you were gonna amount to something. We never believed you. Did you get your teeth fixed? Is that Camaro still running? It must be a classic by now...1984 and candy apple red. How are those children doing anyway? The one with the cleft palate, did he have surgery yet?
SERIOUSLY, what do you really think this board is about? It's about putting out in the open all of the problems with the Town, the Council, the Police Department and the cover-ups of all of the above. Very rarely, since the elections are over, have you read anything speaking negatively about anyone else.
As for the Townies to be such blue collar and white trash - when was the last time you left your gated community of immigrants? I mean 85% of the people in DV didn't speak English as their first language. I'd rather live in a Town of good ole boys then a neighborhood full of sleeper cell terrorists.
See how silly that all sounds and how hateful. That's how you came across Missy. But don't worry, the next time I am golfing over at DV I will sure to piss on your grass after I buy a beer from your sister, the beer cart girl.

Broomstick!...do me a favor- Run for Mayor of Haymarket! You already have my vote.That really made me laugh.
And I know the beercart girl you're speaking of! I understand she had a lot of trouble getting used to the FRONT seat of a vehicle.

Thank you for your reply. You have just hit the nail on the head regarding the educational background of the people of the town. Grammar I see is not one of your strong points, just look at the last sentence of your post. I understand Target is looking for a few good people, why don't you put your application in. I think a 6th grade education is all you need. As far as Broomstick, I have no clue on what you had to say, but I must have struck a nerve with you. I guess I was hitting to close to home for you. Confederate day is coming soon, so I think you all need to rally your pickup trucks get drunk and poke your sister.
