Virginia Code Section

Maybe Someone can get the officers a Virginia Code Book so they can put the proper code section on the tickets written so they don't look like fools in Court and lose cases. But as for today "Thanks Officer K ". I believe that you will still get credit for your raise this year though.

Court Cases Tossed

What is watchfulleye talking about with court cases tossed and looking like fools in court? Is this happening on a regular basis? I'm sure that the Town Council gets a report on the number of arrests/tickets each month versus the number of convictions. WOuldn't the Prince William prosecutor's office keep them informed on any problems in court?

Wrong Codes

If these officers who are writing bad tickets are getting cases thrown out of court, we need to give remedial training to these officers, or give them a cheat sheet to use for writing tickets.

If they need someone to help out with this, I am willing to volunteer. To train these officers. During my time in the Army, I helped with training of soldiers.

Just curious, were these regular paid officers, or reserve officers?

Paid officers

After doing some research, it was a paid officer who wrote the wrong code on the ticket.

I think this officer needs some remedial training
