Having heard previously about the actions of a Haymarket police officer who apparently may have pursued a personal vendetta against a citizen, comes this story about how the Chief of Police may be falsifying information to the court in order to unlawfully continue a Reserve Officer Program that had been suspended by the Town Council.

Thankfully some citizens have been working to ensure that the story gets out on townofhaymarket.info. I can't vouch for the accuracy of all of the information, but it would appear that their facts are solid. Despite the apparent accuracy of the complaints, the mayor is threatening the operators of the website and has taxpayer-funded attorneys investigating how they might do a takedown of this pesky group that is exercising their political free speech in a way inconvenient to this troubled administration.
