The complaint that sparked an investigation into Haymarket's police chief and a sergeant accuses two members of the Haymarket Police Department of making sexual comments that created a "hostile work environment."
However, the police department needs a second look, said Officer Robert Hoffman, who wants to see another investigation into the chief's time worked versus time paid.
"The two always talk about sex. It's always about sex," said Hoffman, who released a copy of his complaint against Chief James Roop and Sergeant Greg Breeden on Wednesday.
Hoffman and other officers have alleged that the chief doesn't work enough hours to warrant a 40-hour paycheck.
Roop and Breeden return today to the town's police force after a 15-day unpaid suspension.
"We just got the point where enough is enough," Hoffman said, referring to three other officers who filed complaints regarding their boss. "The stuff [Roop and Breeden] said has embarrassed me."
He wrote in his complaint that the men had made numerous comments about the size of women's breasts and sex acts, and innuendos.
Hoffman also said an investigation should be started to make sure the chief has been working for hours that he has been paid.
"I think somebody should really investigate it -- the hours that he was never there working and got paid for," Hoffman said.
"[Roop] hasn't been to work more than two days a week," Hoffman said. "He just doesn't come to work and of course he gets paid for it."
